We believe, that now - more than ever, everyone should try and do whatever is in their personal and corporate power to help and conserve what little is left of pristine places on our Mother Earth. The Yukon territory in Canada is one of these pristine environments.

But we are not only a Spa - we are a luxury wilderness retreat that also specializes in culinary extravaganzas and soft wilderness adventures. Being aware and compassionate towards our environment does not necessarily mean that one has to forego all the fun and luxurious aspects of life, but times have changed and we no longer can live and take holidays as if there is nothing wrong. Enough damage has been done and our responsibility towards our children and grandchildren is growing exponentially.

Despite all the doom and gloom, we also believe that most of us have worked hard at whatever it is we choose to do with our lives and every now and then would like to reward ourselves with an extreme personal experience that makes all the hard work worthwhile. We would also like to do this without having to feel guilty about the environmental impact our holidays or reward trips have.

We wanted to provide an alternative for people who would like to experience the timeless beauty of the true wild north in absolute luxury while contributing as much as possible to saving our planet and leaving nothing but your personal footprint in the mountains.

Who are we?
Why are we so different, compared to the rest of the
Eco Spa Retreats?
Because!

We are two business owners who truly care more about the environment and the legacy that we will be leaving for our children and grand children than we care about the “bottom line” or our corporate profit. Of course we have to make a living and take care of our family, and preferably have a bottom line that will allow us to lend a helping hand to those who might need a bit of financial support.

We came up with the idea for
Perfect Earth Tours Eco Spa & Retreat
based on our love and deep respect for Mother Earth, our strong belief in personal and corporate environmental responsibility and our love of decadence.

Wherever we went, either to work in the mountains or on business trips to Europe or North America, we always felt extremely guilty staying in high-end (Five star) resorts or hotels and observing the vast amount of environmental waste and at times even total disrespect for the environment.

So we thought it would be time to put our funds and our efforts where they count. The decision was made to create - as far as we know - North America's first and only 100% environmentally sustainable Luxury Wilderness Eco Spa Retreat - a special place which offers only the finest of the finest in regards to accommodations, spa activities, menus, live entertainment, equipment, horses, staff and - last but most important - pristine scenery.

Our motto is rather simple (as Hemingway would put it). We have a very simple taste. ONLY THE BEST WILL DO!!!

However, ONLY THE BEST WILL DO means so much more to us. This means only products that pass our very strict personal organic sustainability criteria will be allowed to be used at Perfect Earth Tours Spa & Resort . The way we purchase goods and products follows a few main guide lines:

• Support local organic businesses first.

• Buy organic within western North America if we can't find it locally.

• Using the worlds first organic canvas Teepee's.

• Use recycled products as much as possible.

• All of our bedding, staff clothes, furniture are made of sustainable organic material (i.E. organic hemp, organic cotton, organic silk etc.).

• Natural organic rubber mattresses. A sleep you will dream of afterwards.

• Our vehicles run on Bio-diesel .

• Minimize the use of fossil fuel related items, with the goal of totally eliminating any use of fossil fuels.

• Exclusive use of 100% odour free composting toilets.

• NO PERMANENT structures in the bush. Our entire resort is dismantled at the end of each season.

• NO TRACE resort, which means really no trace!

• Using only alternative energy sources at our resort and as much as possible at home such as solar, wind, geothermal, river and human power.

• 5% of your payment will be donated to a charity of your choice and another 5% of your payment will be donated to a local independent charity in the Yukon .

• If it is not good enough for our children, it's not good enough for us or our clients.

Despite our strict guidelines for the use of sustainable products of all sorts, our main focus is on our client's needs and desires. We offer the ultimate in
